Philips GoGear HDD6320/00 take apart
I belive the GoGear HDD6320/00 is a pretty fancy MP3 player with some limitations. Unfortunately Philips restricted its use to MP3 and WMV files – no firmware updates have changed that so far. As I was curious how the player looked under the hood and if there is a chance to replace the battery, I carefully took it apart.

How do you remove the touchpanel? What tools do you need?
Thank you.

I used a regular pocket knife but any slim blade (plastic) will do it to remove the touchpanel of the player. If you look at the pictures, you can see that the touchpanel has little hooks which go into the sides of the middle frame (picture 4). I’d recommend to start at the sides and then go to the bottom and top to unhook the touchpanel. The buildquality is quite good and everything sits fairly tight. Be careful and take your time, it does not need any brutal force.
I can’t help you with the PCB of the touchpanel itself as I didn’t remove it, sorry.
Remember, take apparts are at your own risk. If you break it, it’s your fault.
